Our Story: The House Journey
Every movement starts with a problem that needs solving. Ours was clear—too many purpose-driven leaders were stuck, overworked, and under-supported. Brilliant ideas were being left on the table, not because of lack of ambition or talent, but because access to real strategy, resources, and networks was limited to a select few.
We saw entrepreneurs grinding endlessly, hoping hard work alone would get them to the next level. We watched nonprofit leaders pouring everything into their missions but struggling to secure the funding and infrastructure to make their vision sustainable. We noticed creatives and thought leaders with powerful stories and ideas, unsure of how to step fully into their influence without burning out.
The gap was undeniable. And we knew we had to do something about it.
Why We Built House 1922
House 1922 was born from the belief that access changes everything—that the right strategy, resources, and community can be the difference between struggling in isolation and thriving with clarity.
We’ve been in the trenches—navigating high-stakes fundraising, scaling businesses from the ground up, leading teams, and balancing purpose with profitability. We’ve felt the frustration of knowing there’s more to give but not having the roadmap to execute at the next level. And we knew we weren’t alone.
So, we built what we wish we had—a space where impact-driven leaders, creatives, and entrepreneurs don’t have to figure it all out on their own. House 1922 isn’t just another coaching program, consulting firm, or networking group. It’s a collective, a launchpad, and a think tank designed for people who are ready to step into their full potential with the right tools, knowledge, and support.
How We Make It Happen
We work with founders who are scaling their businesses, nonprofit leaders who need strategic fundraising, executives who are refining their leadership, and creatives who are stepping into their full potential. Whether it’s branding, funding, operations, or personal growth, House 1922 provides the resources, coaching, and support that actually move the needle.
We are here for the visionaries who are ready to go beyond surface-level success and build something that truly lasts. We exist to make sure that when you step into your next level, you do so with clarity, confidence, and a community that has your back.
What We Stand For
Strategy Over Guesswork: We believe success isn’t about luck—it’s about intentional, informed decision-making. Every leader deserves a clear roadmap, not just motivation.
Collaboration Over Competition: There’s enough room at the table for everyone, and we believe in building bridges, not silos. We win when we work together.
Purpose Over Popularity: We don’t chase trends. We focus on what truly matters—helping leaders create meaningful, sustainable impact.
Execution Over Excuses: Ideas are great, but action creates transformation. We help people stop spinning their wheels and start making real moves.
Accessibility Over
The House isn’t just a company. It’s a movement.
If you’re ready to stop playing small and start building with intention, welcome home.
Who is Courtney?
I am reflection of you. The truth is I am a multi-faceted human being who lives to curate.
I can give you the credentials and my “elevator speech”, and will. But if you really want to understand WHAT I do and HOW I do it, you need to know my WHY… my story. I invite you to read my story and explore my blog when you’re done here. I prefer to keep things raw, real and unfiltered. Because my why is the most important part what you will expereince through my work.
The Basics:
Above anything else, I am a mother and a soul on a mission to curate experiences where those I serve feel like they belong. After experiencing homelessness, spending my whole life searching for a home, and using anything I could to fill the void inside, I realized home was within me.
I started my first business on a cracked iPhone that made my thumbs bleed. But I did it. And then I failed. But I didn’t. I took the knowledge I had gained, bought my first online course for $199, and remained committed.
Mental health and the correlation between that and business always went hand in hand for me. I believed in, and still do, living a purpose-led life.
Through my journey, I realized quickly that transactional relationships were not for me. I focused solely on relational interactions and supporting those who desired to live boldly in their purpose.
This came through many variations, and I accepted what my life was called to be. My life’s work is NOT about me. It is about those I am honored to partner with.
Mission-driven work is heart work. Through my businesses, speaking engagements, writing, resources provided, and anything else I touch, I require a level of commitment and understanding of relational, mission-driven, and purpose-led work.
